Pete Carroll is out after 14 seasons as the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks

The 72-year-old is moving into an advisory role with the organization, according to a statement from owner Jody Allen.

Carroll guided the team to two NFC championships and the only Super Bowl title in franchise history during his long tenure.

 

The Seattle Kraken hope to continue their stellar play as of late.

They’re playing the Washington Capitals tonight in the second of a six-game road trip.

The Kraken are riding a season-best 7-game win streak.

They’ve also gotten points in each of their last 11 games.

The struggling Capitals have lost 6 of their last 8 games.

The Vikings have won six of their last seven games, scoring at least 100 points in five of them.

Meanwhile, the 16th nationally ranked women’s team is hosting Central Washington for Alumni Night at Carver Gym.

The first 350 fans will receive hot chocolate and brownies.
