LACEY, Wash. — Just as a newly formed task force met to investigate a string of grisly cat mutilations in Thurston County, police found a thirteenth dead cat.
The Sheriff’s Office says a homeowner who did not own the cat found it on their property Thursday afternoon.
A reward has grown to $36,000 as additional organizations including PETA and the Humane Society of the United States have become involved.
