Thousands took to the streets of downtown Bellingham for the annual Pride Parade Sunday.
Some say as many as 8-thousand people celebrated the L-G-B-T-Q community in what organizers say is the second largest Pride event in the state.
The Bellingham Herald reports this year’s grand marshal was Bellingham Police Deputy Chief Flo Simon and police officers, fire fighters and librarians took part.
