BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Whatcom Community College reports it received a bomb threat from an alleged former student Wednesday morning.
School spokesperson Marisa Ellis says Bellingham Police have determined there is no direct threat but officers did conduct walk-thoughs of several buildings out of an abundance of caution.
She says no students were threatened as classes are not currently in session and faculty took appropriate measures.
A Bellingham Police spokesperson says officers are investigating the person who made the threat.
Anyone who sees any suspicious activity is asked to call 911.
