BOW, Wash. – Troopers are blaming inattention for an accident involving three motorcyclists that sent one to the hospital.
The State Patrol said the motorcyclists were riding near the Bow city limits at about one Sunday when Rodney Fields of Arlington hit another motorcycle without braking.
Fields was thrown from his bike.
A third biker laid his motorcycle down in the road to avoid hitting Fields and his motorcycle.
Fields was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center.
The other two riders were not injured.
