SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. – Three people are hurt after two motorcycles crashed into a ditch to avoid a parked car.

Troopers say drugs or alcohol were involved in Monday night’s crash on the South Skagit Highway east of Sedro-Woolley.

Kenneth Price of Sedro-Woolley and Michael Rieken of Stanwood were driving the motorcycles with passengers when they came up on an unoccupied parked car.

Both men went off the road to avoid the car and ended up in a ditch.

Price and his passenger were injured and taken to the hospital, while Rieken was airlifted to Harborview.
