BELLINGHAM, Wash. – An assault on a post office employee in Bellingham landed a transient man behind bars.
Court documents state that 26-year-old Matthew Sceniak became angry with the employee over a package at the downtown Prospect Street office on August 3rd.
Sceniak forcefully grabbed the employee by the arm before getting up on the counter and refusing to get down.
When officers arrived, Sceniak pulled out a knife and made his way into the back area of the post office.
He was eventually tased and taken into custody.
Sceniak remains behind bars on $100,000 bail.
