SEQUIM, Wash. (AP) — A transient man who police say drove through the wall of a Sequim gun store to steal dozens of weapons in April has been arrested and had bail set at $350,000.

The Peninsula Daily News reports 38-year-old Joey Maillet has been lodged at Clallam County jail for investigation of burglary, 26 counts of theft of a firearm, theft of a motor vehicle and malicious mischief.

Federal agents say they are investigating whether Maillet is linked to another vehicle-involved gun store burglary in Skagit County.

Maillet was arrested Monday at the Snohomish County Jail, where he had been booked on a burglary case unrelated to the Sequim burglary.

The stolen guns have not been found.
