ARLINGTON, Wash. — The Washington State Patrol coordinated a special mission after hearing many raise concerns about dangerous driving around school buses.

On Friday morning, state troopers had their Aggressive Driving Apprehension Team join forces with the aviation unit and commercial vehicle division to patrol the Arlington School District bus routes.

In two hours, three separate drivers failed to stop for the stop paddle on the buses while kids were getting on.

The fine for that violation is $419.

One driver was arrested on charges of driving while their license was suspended, and for having a warrant for a previous DUI.
