BOW HILL, Wash. — Troopers are looking for more information after a fatal hit-and-run on I-5 near the Bow Hill rest area last week.
The State Patrol says Tonya Pearson was walking in the southbound lanes of I-5 at about 1:20 am Wednesday, November 20th, when a pickup truck struck her and drove off.
A semi-truck also hit Pearson, but the driver stayed behind.
Based on debris found at the scene, investigators believe the pickup was a 2008-2010 Ford Super Duty F-250, 350 or 450 and was possibly a dark color.
Anyone with information on the crash or who knows more about what happened earlier in the evening are asked call or email the detective on the case.
