BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A Bellingham man got in even more trouble when sheriff’s deputies went to arrest him on outstanding charges.

A sheriff’s spokesperson says Anthony Skondin had multiple felony warrants out for his arrest, including for a charge of vehicle theft.

Deputies located him at a home on Holeman Avenue in Blaine last Friday night.

He ran but was found hiding in woods off Grandview Road and arrested early Saturday.

Deputies found a shotgun in the home that Skondin admitted to owning illegally.

They also found a baggie of methamphetamine on him while they were booking him into jail.

Drug and weapons charges were added to the counts he already faced.
