MARYSVILLE, Wash. — A two-car collision took the life of an elderly Oak Harbor man Thursday evening.
The State Patrol says 93- year old Karl H Lutz failed to yield to a driver turning left onto Regatta Drive from 8th Avenue at about 5:30.
Lutz was not wearing a seatbelt, and died after being taken to Whidbey General Hospital.
His passenger, 86-year old Mechtild Lutz, was wearing a seatbelt and survived the crash with injuries.
