SEATTLE, Wash. — Two deputies were shot yesterday after investigating a car prowl in Woodinville.
KIRO reports one of the deputies may have been saved by his cellphone which was hit in the gunfight, preventing a bullet from entering his back.
The car prowl suspect reportedly fired on the officers first.
Both deputies have now been released from the hospitals they were taken to.
