FERNDALE, Wash. – The two men whose bodies were found in a submerged car in the Nooksack River near Ferndale’s Pioneer Park Tuesday morning have been identified.

Police say 30-year-old Landry L Lawrence was the driver of the vehicle and 23-year-old Darriann J. James was his passenger.

Both men were residents of the Lummi Reservation.
