LYMAN, Wash. – Two men have been found safe after their small plane crashed in Skagit County.
KIRO reports that the men were reported missing around 8 p.m. Sunday, September 25th, after their flight from Concrete to Arlington never made it to Arlington.
Faint emergency signals were picked up near Lyman, but crews were unable to determine whether to send a ground crew to the town.
Around 9:30 on Monday, their plane was found in some trees near Lake Cavanaugh.
Both men were able to get out of the plane and trees once contacted by rescuers.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
