FERNDALE, Wash. – City of Ferndale Communications Director Riley Sweeney says two people got into an altercation just before 9 a.m. Thursday and a person was shot in the chest and shoulder area and another person suffered a stab wound.
He says investigators believe the person who was stabbed was the shooter.
Both have been detained and are being treated for their wounds.
Police aren’t releasing anymore information at this time but say there’s no danger to the public.
