BLAINE, Wash. — This weekend will be busy for runners and bicyclists in the Pacific Northwest.

Reebok Ragnar Northwest Passage is a 170-mile running relay that begins Friday near the Canadian border and follows a course through Whidbey Island down to Langley, Washington.

Expect to see crowds of runners throughout the county on roads and trails Friday and Saturday.

Starting Saturday about 10,000 bicyclists are taking on the annual two-day Seattle-to-Portland bike ride.

Law enforcement will be on site to direct traffic when needed along the more than 200-mile route.
