SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. – Two Sedro-Woolley juveniles paid for their vandalism with old fashioned elbow grease.

The Sedro-Woolley Police Department says in a social media post that an officer responded to a report of a vehicle being spray painted Monday night, August 15th.

The officer found several vehicles and building windows had been vandalized with paint.

The officer contacted two juveniles who admitted to shooting play-paint-goo from Nerf paint guns at vehicles and other targets.

Some of the vehicle owners were contacted and provided the kids with soap and water to clean up their mess.

They returned home after about an hour of clean-up work only to be confronted by one of their mothers who was angry that her car had also been splattered.
