FERNDALE, Wash. – Two Whatcom County teachers are among the four Washington finalists for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching.
Beth Andres teaches math at Ferndale High School and James Yoos teaches science at Bellingham High School.
National award recipients are usually announced in the spring.
