LYNDEN, Wash. – U.S. Representative Suzan DelBene is getting involved as concerns over mail service in Lynden continue.
Some customers say they haven’t received mail for days, and others say service has been poor for months.
The Lynden Chamber of Commerce says in a Facebook post that they and Mayor Scott Korthuis haven’t been able to contact those who may be able to take action.
They’ve informed DelBene’s office, which says residents should fill out a form that will help bring them up to speed on the problem so they can take action.
The Lynden Chamber posts these instructions for filling out the form:
Select “United States Postal Service” under the agency list.
There is no need to fill out the portion for tracking number, etc.
YOU MUST fill out the portion explaining the challenge of receiving mail in a timely fashion, and what resolution you seek, in this case, TIMELY MAIL DELIVERY.
You will then need to check the box, add in your signature using your mouse or touchscreen, and submit.
