EVERETT, Wash. — A classic muscle car isn’t quite in mint condition this morning after rolling off a flatbed truck and crashing onto I-5 in Everett Sunday.
Trooper Heather Axtman tweets that the unoccupied Chevy Chevelle swerved across all lanes of the freeway and crashed into a car traveling in the HOV lane.
The people in that car were startled but not hurt.
Axtman says the flatbed driver will be cited for an unsecured load and says it’s a good reminder to always secure everything you’re hauling as this situation could have turned out a lot worse.
A driver in Everett today was hauling a 70s Chevelle on his flatbed trailer south on I-5 when it suddenly rolled off the trailer and onto the roadway. The unoccupied Chevelle cut across all lanes of traffic and into the HOV lane where it was struck by another vehicle. 1/2 pic.twitter.com/y2Whh8dztz
