WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – A man who was stabbed in an Alderwood area home on Saturday night has been upgraded to serious condition.
Cody Shadle sold a speaker to Brant Kirkwood of Bellingham and the two later got into a fight over the transaction.
Sheriff Bill Elfo says Kirkwood stabbed Shadle in the leg, severing his femoral artery.
He was initially in grave condition because of loss of blood.
Kirkwood is jailed on one million dollars bail for an attempted murder charge
