SEATTLE, Wash. — If you’ve been sickened by the coronavirus but gotten better, you may be able to help other people who’ve come down with the illness.

UW Medicine and Bloodworks Northwest are asking for blood donations from people who’ve recovered from COVID-19.

Blood plasma contains antibodies that help fight off infection, and researchers think plasma from those who have recovered might help others fight off the virus.

If you might be interested in participating, please email your name and contact information to covidplasma@uw.edu or call (206) 520-4212 to leave a message.
