SEATTLE, Wash. – A University of Washington researcher was fired over sexual harassment allegations.
The Seattle Times reports Michael Katze was let go after investigator found he created a hostile work environment for a woman under his direct supervision.
Investigators found he “persistently, and for an extended period of time, made unwanted sexual comments and jokes.”
Katze was a microbiology professor responsible for cutting-edge work that put the university on the forefront of Ebola and flu research.
