SEATTLE, Wash. — U-W researchers say they have developed a COVID-19 vaccine candidate that is 10 times more effective than others.
KIRO reports Dr. Neil King as saying the technology they used has a proven track record, not requiring cold storage, so it is easier to make and ship.
The vaccine is far more potent, so patients would not need big doses.
Clinical trials will possibly take place by the end of the year.
