OLYMPIA, Wash. — Check your freezer for Van’s pork egg rolls as the company has recalled nearly 10,400 pounds of the food which may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically soft plastic.

The USDA reports Van Oriental Foods received two consumer complaints about a thin thread of plastic inside the products.

Packages are labeled “Van’s Kitchen 2 Egg Rolls Pork Grab and Go,” with a production date of May 30, 2018.

The USDA says they haven’t gotten any confirmed reports of injuries or illness.

Consumers are urged to throw the food out or return it to where you bought it.
