BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A recall of nearly 70,000 pounds of Tyson Foods frozen chicken strip products has expanded with an addition of roughly 12-million pounds of chicken that may also contain pieces of metal.
USDA inspectors say the expansion includes more products with “Use By Dates” from October 1st through March 7th, 2020.
The establishment number is “P-7221” and the chicken was shipped to retail locations nationwide.
At least six people have complained of finding metal in their chicken, while three have said they had injuries to their mouths.
