SEATTLE, Wash. (AP) — Violent protests erupted in Seattle Wednesday night, prompting over a dozen arrests.

Authorities said people smashed windows and spray painted buildings after a Kentucky grand jury’s decision not to indict officers in the fatal shooting of Breonna Taylor.

KOMO reports 13 people were arrested on charges including resisting arrest, property destruction and refusing to disperse.

Police say one officer was hit in the head with a baseball bat.

Another officer was seen on video wheeling his bike over the head of a person lying on the ground.
