Volunteers needed for support and opposition of Bellingham Home Fund in voter’s pamphlet

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The City of Bellingham needs volunteers to join committees that will write “for” and “against” statements for an upcoming ballot measure.

Citizens will vote on the renewal of the Bellingham Home Fund levy in November. The levy would provide affordable housing and support services to Bellingham residents.

Before submitting the ballot measure, the City must prepare statements for the voter’s pamphlet.

Those interested should apply on the City’s website by June 15. Contact the mayor’s office with questions.
