OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — Both candidates for the governor of Washington have agreed to a televised debate.

Democratic Gov. Jay Inslee and Republican challenger Loren Culp will debate on October 7, broadcast live from 8-9 p.m.

The candidates will participate from separate rooms at the Olympia headquarters of the state’s government affairs channel, TVW.
