OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) – The state unemployment rate is the lowest it’s been in nearly 10 years.
March’s rate dropped 0.2 of a percent from February’s 4.9 percent.
It’s the lowest rate since August 2007.
The state also added nearly 11,000 jobs last month.
The industries with the greatest job growth were tourism, education, health, and professional and business services.
