Washington state’s economy added 6,100 jobs in December, part of the total of more than 95,000 jobs added since December 2016.
The Employment Security Department said the biggest gains were seen in leisure and hospitality, manufacturing and construction.
There were job losses in professional and business services and retail trade.
The state unemployment rate was 4.5 percent last month, while the jobless rate for November has been revised down to 4.4 percent.
That’s a record low for Washington.
