OLYMPIA, Wash. — While pockets of the state may not seem like it, Washington is among the top ten safest states in the country.
A report from WalletHub shows Washington ranks high in road safety, workplace safety and emergency preparedness compared to other U.S. states.
The state’s personal and residential safety is significantly lower as we have the second-fewest law enforcement employees per capita.
On average, Washington is the 10th safest U.S. state according to WalletHub’s data.
