OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — As state legislators head toward a third overtime session, they’re getting new information that could help them reach an agreement on a budget.
Now, new numbers show the state is expected to bring in $160 million more than expected – $80 million now, and another $80 million later.
If a new spending plan isn’t signed into law by June 30th, the state faces a partial government shutdown.
