We tie for first place with the highest soil quality and highest percentage of renewable energy use, but overall we rank 17th in the nation.
WalletHub puts Vermont and Oregon in the top two spots based on their environmental quality, eco-friendly behaviors, and climate change contributions.
West Virginia was dead last.
