SEATTLE, WASH. – There are some pretty bad roads in Washington State.

The American Society of Civil Engineers says nearly a third of Washington roads are in desperate need of repair.

But, former ASCE president Greg DiLoreto says it’s not all bad.

He says Washington citizens seem willing to invest in transportation.

The ASCE Infrastructure Report Card shows Washington drivers pay $656 per year to drive on roads in need of repair.

Overall, the nation’s roads were given a D+ by the engineers.
