OLYMPIA, WASH (AP) – Washington Secretary of State Kim Wyman has colon cancer, but she’s upbeat about he prognosis.
She’ll undergo treatment over the next several weeks.
She says she remains committed to her role as secretary.
She plans to continue performing her official duties during her treatment and recovery.
Wyman says her cancer is curable and she expects to make a full recovery after chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
