WASHINGTON – Washington Senators Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell are among at least eight female Democratic Senators who are calling on Minnesota Senator Al Franken to resign.
Another woman accused him of sexual misconduct Wednesday.
Murray said in a statement “It’s clear that this has been a deeply harmful, persistent problem.”
Cantwell tweeted that Franken’s actions “demonstrate a pattern of serious misconduct and abuse.”
