OLYMPIA, Wash. – You won’t have to quarantine for 14 days if you travel to New York, New Jersey or Connecticut.
Governor Jay Inslee says Washington residents can still travel freely to those states despite being on an initial list of travelers under that restriction.
“We’ve been informed that Washington state was erroneously included in a list of states where New York, New Jersey and Connecticut would require travelers to quarantine.” Governor Inslee said, “And so we’ve been told to expect that to be corrected shortly.”
The three states issued the quarantine restriction on eight other states that are hard hit by a resurgence of coronavirus cases, including Florida, Texas and Arizona.
Inslee says our infection rate isn’t high enough to make the list.
