OLYMPIA, Wash. – Washington is on-track to fully re-open on Wednesday and Governor Inslee says we should make it a day of celebration.
“That is something we ought to be happy about. We ought to pop the champagne corks or the juice or whatever you celebrate with,” says Inlsee. “We ought to break out the flags and we ought to go to restaurants.”
The statewide goal is to have 70% of residents 16 and over at least partially vaccinated and KOMO reports we’re close at just over 68%.
The governor’s office says that’s close enough and businesses can open to full capacity on June 30th.
