LYNDEN, Wash. – Ice storm recovery efforts continued into a second day Sunday as over 2000 Whatcom County Puget Sound Energy customers woke up again without power across northern Whatcom County.
Some main roads still out of commission due to the storm are Garrison Road near Lynden and Double Ditch Road near Sumas.
Hope Lutheran Church in Lynden cancelled it’s Sunday 10am service due to conditions.
Whatcom Emergency Management asks residents to stay off roads with poles and trees down to allow crews to do their work.
