BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Boys and Girls Clubs of Whatcom County is $1,000 richer thanks to library card signups.

The Whatcom County Library System announced they welcomed just over a thousand new patrons and students to the library as a result of their #UnlockYourLibrary campaign during September’s Library Card Signup Month.

The funds are courtesy of Bellingham Lock & Safe, which donated $1 to Boys and Girls Clubs for each new library card sign-up.

Co-owner of Bellingham Lock & Safe Jamie Vos says the campaign is a win for all of us.
