BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Whatcom County Library System wants to get you reading.
They’re hoping to get 1,000 people to sign up for a library card during September, and Bellingham Lock and Safe is teaming up with them to give you an incentive to do it.
Lizz Roberts of the WCLS tells KGMI that Bellingham Lock and Safe is donating a dollar to the Boys and Girls Club for every new sign up for this month, with a cap at $1,000.
They’ve signed up more than 700 new users so far, but are still aiming for their goal.
