SANDY POINT, Wash. – Whatcom County residents impacted by recent weather events are being asked to report any damages.
The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office is asking for any damage sustained during “extreme winter weather events” from December 13th onward.
Anyone in the county, regardless of where they live or whether they rent or own their home, is encouraged to submit a report if they were impacted.
Our region has dealt with significant snowfall, bitter cold, and flooding since that date.
Information submitted to the Sheriff’s Office will help the county get broader federal disaster aid.
