BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A female Western Washington University student was assaulted on campus early Tuesday morning.
The student told University Police that she was walking from Wilson Library to Nash Hall along East High Street just after midnight when a person ran up behind her and grabbed her breasts.
The Western Alert said the student elbowed the suspect, who then ran south into the trees toward Wilson Library.
She says her assaulter was a male with light colored skin.
University Police are investigating and ask anyone with information to call them.
