OLYMPIA, Wash. – The state Department of Health is detailing side effects some people are experiencing after receiving the coronavirus vaccine.

About 80% report pain at the injection site.

About half report fatigue or tiredness after getting the shot and less than 30% say they’ve had muscle aches.

Side effects are more common in people over 55 and most often occur after the second dose.

They usually two days after receiving the vaccine and last for about a day.
