BELLINGHAM, Wash. — After running on a reduced schedule since March, the Whatcom Chief will resume a more traditional weekday schedule.
Starting Monday, the ferry will run its regular pre-COVID schedule for the morning and daytime hours.
It will also run a revised schedule from 3pm until the final 12:10am sailing from Gooseberry Point.
Also starting Monday, ferry riders will not be able to punch or mark their own punch card.
Crew members will punch the cards through a contactless system similar to how riders currently pay with a credit card.
