BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Whatcom Chief is scheduled to return to service Saturday after completion of scheduled dry dock maintenance.
Whatcom County Public works says there are still more shipyard repairs to complete, and then the ferry must pass sea trials.
At this time, Lummi Island vehicle ferry service is set to resume at 6pm Saturday.
