OLYMPIA, Wash. — A Whatcom County registered nurse was charged with unprofessional conduct related to drug use.
The Washington State Department of Health said in charges dated April 22nd that Andrea Rae Grainger was discharged from a substance abuse monitoring program in 2017 after testing positive for codeine without a prescription.
Grainger had been in the monitoring program since 2013.
The Department says Grainger also reported using cocaine and heroin after relapsing in 2017.
Grainger has 20 days from the date of the charges to respond.
