BELLINGHAM, Wash – Whatcom Community College is set to celebrate the opening of its new Cyber Security Center Wednesday at 4:30pm at the College’s Baker Hall.
In it’s 50th year, WCC began offering its first 4- year degree this fall, a bachelor’s in IT Networking, with courses tied to a curriculum provided by the National Security Administration.
Marisa Ellis of the College says WCC is a cyber security leader, designated the only National Science Foundation Advanced Technological Center on the U.S. West Coast.
